I am working as a Manager of Internal Audit at CCL Industries Inc., where I oversee the internal audits for all North American operations. I am responsible for scoping, audit planning, audit risk analysis, audit execution, audit closing and publishing audit reports to the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors.
North American operations are 40% of the Global revenue [Global Rev; $5.3B].
Audits are in accordance to IFRS and Canadian Bill 198 [Canadian SOX]. In addition to audits, I also play a role in implementing new financial policies and accounting standards.
About: CCL is the the largest label producer in the world with 4 business segments; Avery, Checkpoint, Innovia and Label.

As an auditor, I led Canadian statuary audits for 2 Fortune 500 companies; Panasonic Inc and Emerson Electric Co., compliance with ASPE & JSOX and US GAAP & SOX, respectively.
Further, led quarterly reviews for CCL Industries Inc; while managing 47 in-scoped subsidiaries globally spread across 20 countries.
In all cases, led an audit team of 2 to 6 staff members and acted as a liaison between C level executives and KPMG Managers and Partners.

In this role, I worked alongside the lead Corporate Social Responsibility Research Professor in determining the input factors and their correlation to the success of an impact investment fund.
I reviewed and created a dataset for roughly 430 global funds that are impact funds (3P funds, CSR funds, micro-financing funds etc.), to determine patterns in success rates tied to the country or origin, country the money is being invested in, ROI, industry of the fund's impact (economical, government, agriculture, housing, green-tech etc.).

In this role, I was responsible for developing an expansion proposal into a new province of Canada for our software to be launched.
When developing the financial model for the expansion, analyzed the economical factors, number of physicians, political impact, revenue growth potential, MRR, inflation and different revenue stream structures.
Additionally, I also prepared the Balance Sheet for the Ontario (province) business segment on Quickbooks.
About: OSCAR was a leading Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software which was open-source. In 2020, OSCAR EMR was acquired by Well Technologies Inc.
